This Privacy Policy explains how Astrelle collects, uses, shares, stores, transfers, and protects personal information across the Astrelle mobile apps, website, subscriptions, AI features, audio narration, charts, compatibility tools, and related services.

Who We Are and How to Contact Us

Astrelle provides astrology, tarot, numerology, compatibility, calendar, astrocartography, AI chat, and related entertainment features. References to Astrelle, we, us, or our mean the operator of Astrelle.

For privacy questions, data-rights requests, or legal notices, contact contact@astrelleapp.com. If your country requires a local representative, data protection officer, or supervisory-authority contact, we will provide the legally required information when that requirement applies to Astrelle.

What We Collect

We collect information you provide, including birth date, birth time, birth location, name or display name, gender or pronouns when provided, interests, account email, authentication identifiers, saved readings, journal entries, compatibility inputs, questions, prompts, messages, feedback, support requests, and preferences.

We collect information created when you use Astrelle, including chart calculations, generated readings, subscription status, purchases, feature usage, device and browser information, approximate region, language, app version, diagnostic data, crash logs, security logs, and cookie or similar identifiers on the web when permitted.

We do not intentionally collect government identifiers, payment card numbers, health records, biometric identifiers, precise live background location, or children's information. Payment card details are processed by the applicable app store or payment processor, not stored by Astrelle.

Birth Data, Location, and Sensitive Context

Astrology features require birth date, birth time, and birth place. Some laws may treat birth data, location-derived information, relationship inputs, beliefs, or intimate profile details as sensitive or specially protected. We use this information only to provide the features you request, personalize your experience, maintain your account, and operate the service.

Astrocartography uses places you enter or explicitly choose. Astrelle does not track your live device location in the background. Do not enter information about another person unless you have permission to use it in Astrelle.

How and Why We Use Information

We use personal information to create and sync your account, calculate charts, generate readings, answer AI chats, provide audio narration, save history, process purchases, maintain subscriptions, personalize features, provide support, send service notices, prevent abuse, debug and secure the service, comply with law, and improve reliability and usability.

Where a legal basis is required, we rely on the performance of our contract with you, your consent, our legitimate interests in operating and improving Astrelle, compliance with legal obligations, and protection of users, Astrelle, and the public. You may withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, but some features may stop working.

AI Features

Astrelle uses AI services to generate readings, explanations, chat responses, summaries, and other entertainment content. Prompts, chart context, and related profile information may be sent to AI service providers so they can return the requested output.

Do not submit secrets, medical information, financial account details, legal facts, government identifiers, or information you do not have permission to share. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, offensive, or unsuitable for your situation, and it should not be treated as professional advice.

Cookies, Analytics, and Device Data

On the web, Astrelle may use cookies, local storage, pixels, and similar technologies for sign-in, security, preferences, checkout, consent management, analytics, and performance. Where required, optional analytics or marketing cookies are used only with consent.

You can control cookies through your browser or device settings. Blocking cookies may prevent sign-in, checkout, localization, or other web features from working correctly.

Subscriptions, Payments, and App Stores

In-app purchases and mobile subscriptions are processed by Apple, Google, RevenueCat, or the applicable app-store platform. Web checkout may be processed by Stripe. These providers may act as independent controllers for payment, fraud, tax, refund, and compliance information under their own policies.

Astrelle receives purchase identifiers, entitlement status, product identifiers, renewal status, country or currency information, and limited account metadata needed to unlock paid features and support your subscription.

Service Providers and Subprocessors

Astrelle uses service providers for backend hosting, databases, authentication, AI generation, audio narration, subscription management, payment processing, maps, analytics, crash reporting, customer support, email, security, and infrastructure operations.

Current provider categories include Convex for backend infrastructure, AI providers for text generation, fal.ai for audio narration, RevenueCat for subscription status, Stripe for web checkout, Mapbox for maps when you use astrocartography, Apple and Google for app-store services, and analytics or hosting providers for website performance. Providers are required to process personal information only for permitted purposes and with appropriate confidentiality and security protections.

Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell personal information for money. We do not share personal information with third parties for their own cross-context behavioral advertising unless we first provide any legally required notice and choice.

We may disclose information to service providers, app stores, payment processors, legal or regulatory authorities, professional advisers, business-transfer recipients, security investigators, or others when necessary to operate Astrelle, enforce our terms, protect rights and safety, respond to lawful requests, or complete a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets.

International Transfers

Astrelle is operated using providers that may process information in the United States and other countries. Your information may be transferred to, stored in, or accessed from countries that may not provide the same level of data protection as your home country.

Where required, we use appropriate transfer safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, data processing agreements, adequacy mechanisms, contractual protections, consent, or other lawful transfer tools. Cross-border transfers from regions such as the EEA, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Brazil, China, Korea, Japan, Canada, Australia, or India will be handled as required by applicable law.

Retention

We keep personal information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, including providing the service, maintaining your account, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, preventing abuse, keeping security logs, meeting tax, accounting, and legal obligations, and maintaining backups.

You may delete your account where the app provides that option or contact us to request deletion. Some information may remain for a limited period in backups, audit logs, app-store records, payment records, or legal compliance records.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, confirm, correct, update, delete, export, port, restrict, object to, withdraw consent for, or appeal decisions about your personal information. You may also have the right to opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, profiling, or certain automated decisions where those rights apply.

To exercise rights, use in-app account controls where available or email contact@astrelleapp.com. We may need to verify your request and your authority to act for the account. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.

United States State Privacy Notice

For residents of California and other U.S. states with privacy laws, the categories of personal information we may collect include identifiers, account information, commercial information, internet or electronic activity, approximate location or place data, inferences, user-generated content, and sensitive information you choose to provide for astrology features.

We use those categories for the purposes described above. We do not knowingly sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. If that changes, we will update this policy and provide required opt-out links. We do not knowingly process personal information of users under 16 for sale or sharing.

EEA, UK, Switzerland, Brazil, and Similar Rights

If GDPR, UK GDPR, Swiss FADP, Brazil LGPD, or similar laws apply, you may have rights to access, correction, deletion, portability, objection, restriction, withdrawal of consent, and complaint to a supervisory authority. Processing may be based on contract, consent, legitimate interests, legal obligation, or protection of rights and safety.

Astrelle's legitimate interests include providing requested features, securing the service, preventing abuse, improving reliability, understanding product performance, and communicating with users. We balance those interests against your rights as required by law.

Canada, Australia, Japan, Korea, China, India, and Other Regions

For Canada, Australia, Japan, Korea, China, India, and other regions with privacy, consumer, cross-border transfer, localization, or data-principal rules, we will honor rights and notices that apply to Astrelle based on your location, our availability there, and the nature of the data processed.

This may include access and correction rights, withdrawal of consent, deletion or suspension requests, cross-border transfer notices, grievance handling, complaint rights, and additional consent for sensitive data or overseas disclosures when required.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including access controls, transport security, provider security reviews, least-privilege practices, monitoring, and deletion workflows.

No online service can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting your device, email account, app-store account, and authentication credentials.

Children and Minors

Astrelle is not intended for users under 16 years old, and some countries may require a higher age or parent/guardian consent. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we learn that a child under 16 has created an account, we will delete the account and associated personal information as required.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in Astrelle, our providers, our legal obligations, or our data practices. We will update the Last Updated date and, where required, provide additional notice or request consent.

If you continue using Astrelle after an updated policy takes effect, the updated policy applies to your continued use where permitted by law.
